Clone of BBSRC Review of Data-Intensive Bioscience consultation

BBSRC has contacted the University regarding a review of data-intensive bioscience, which includes a community survey. We are invited to submit an institutional response. Individuals, groups and departments are invited to respond directly to BBSRC as well.

The review is essentially about:

  • bioscience-relevant large-scale data
  • the continued development of bioscience as a data-intensive discipline
  • analysis methods and tools
  • integration between data systems, disciplines and sectors
  • skills and resources
  • future preparedness

While not a formal consultation, this review and community survey are included here in the University’s consultation pages to facilitate participation. The review and survey have been circulated to the MPLS and Medical Sciences divisions.

Please send responses by 4 June 2019 to Matt Smart, Project Officer, Knowledge Exchange and Impact Team, Research Services: matthew.smart@admin.ox.ac.uk
