The 2022-23 funding allocations for English universities have been published by Research England, reflecting the results of REF 2021 for the first time, and the budget changes announced last month.
The University of Oxford is to receive the largest share of Quality-related Research (QR) funding at just over £164 million for 2022-23. This includes mainstream QR (dependent on REF results), and charity and business QR (dependent on volumes of research funding from these sources).
