Description:

The Discovery Proteomics (DisPro) is a Small Research Facility (SRF) at the Target Discovery Institute (TDI) and Centre for Medicine Discovery (CMD), within the Nuffield Department of Medicine. The DisPro is one of the leading laboratories for proteomics in the UK and Europe. We collaborate with researchers in multiple disciplines, from academia and commercial entities, in the UK and world-wide, covering basic, clinical and applied research. DisPro is equipped with state-of-the-art mass spectrometers, that enables us to cover a wide range of applications that expands from low- to high-throughput and from un-target to target proteomics.

We offer expertise in study design, and tailor sample preparation strategies for multiple type of projects: Discovery proteomics to characterise the proteome of biological models (deep proteomes), cellular interactomics (protein-protein interaction; at endogenous levels or in overexpressed systems), post-translational modifications, clinal proteomics for biomarker discovery and chemical proteomics and drug discovery.
