Description:

The Experimental Medicine Division Flow Cytometry Facility based in Room 5605, Level 5, John Radcliffe Hospital offers a high-quality Flow Cytometry service to a variety of users, using a wide variety of techniques. The Facility was initially funded with a combination of funds from the Translational Gastroenterology Unit, Biomedical Research Council and Nuffield Department of Clinical Medicine.

The Facility comprises BD SORP LSRII & BD LSRFortessa analysers, a Cytek Aurora spectral cytometer, plus a BD FACSAriaIII cell sorter. All instruments in the Facility are on maintenance contracts so that they are regularly serviced and can be repaired should any problems arise. We offer training for the instruments, assistance planning your experiments and can advise regarding your data analysis; we can supply you with access to the analysis software FlowJo, Tree-Star, Inc (registration fee applicable) as part of our site license. We are also happy to give an introduction to flow cytometry for those new to the technique.
