Open call for three years starting 2024/25
The open call is subject to demand management via an internal sift, as the University is only permitted to submit one outline proposal for consideration. Interested PIs should submit a two-page draft outline proposal to graduate.studies@mpls.ox.ac.uk (quoting 'CDT 2023' in the subject line), by noon on Friday 26 May. This outline proposal should address the requirements of the call and be prepared in line with the formatting requirements and recommended headings (namely, ‘justification of challenge and training need’ and ‘capability to deliver’). In addition, PIs should submit a short statement (no more than one page) outlining any resource requirements (financial/space/administrative) of their proposal and how these will be met. A sift panel will meet wc 29 May and PIs will be notified of the outcome by Friday 2 June.
Targeted call for a CDT in mineral resources for energy transition
PIs planning to submit a notification of intent to submit for the targeted call should inform the Divisional Office by emailing graduate.studies@mpls.ox.ac.uk (quoting 'CDT 2023' in the subject line) as soon as possible and by noon on Friday 26 May at the latest.
