Histology Small Research Facility

Description: The Facility specialises in Cryosectioning, Immunohistochemistry and Light microscopy histological techniques. The Histology Small Research Facility is based in the Sherrington Building and is a shared service between the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics (DPAG) and the Department of Experimental Psychology (EP). The facility is open to all University of Oxford researchers for their own use after a mandatory Laboratory induction by the Histology Manager. Specialist histology equipment available: Freezing stage Leica /Leitz Microtomes,  Bright Cryostat, Leica Vibratome, Rotary Microtome for paraffin embedded tissue, Light Microscopes.
