More information This single molecule microscope is used to identify the position of single fluorescent protein and/or lipid molecules inside a cell. The molecule positions can then be used to extract information on protein organisation at a higher level. The microscope operates in HILO or in 3D mode. Single Molecule Localisation Microscopy (SMLM) capabilities include direct STochastic Optical Reconstruction Microscopy (dSTORM), Photoactivation Localisation Microscopy (PALM) and DNA points accumulation for imaging in nanoscale topography (DNA-PAINT). The microscope also allows for SPT in HILO.
