The Dunn School EM Facility is the main hub for electron microscopy (EM) of biological samples at the University of Oxford. It comprises of state-of-the-art instrumentation for biological sample preparation, transmission and scanning EM, electron tomography, volume EM, elemental analysis, immuno EM and correlative microscopy. Our staff are dedicated electron microscopists with years of experience preparing and imaging a diverse range of samples for EM, including cells, rodent & human tissue, bacteria, particulate samples (eg: vesicles, proteins and viruses), plants, yeast, biomatierals, biominerals and more! We offer both training and service access options, and also welcome clients from industry. Please get in touch to find out more about the techniques and access option we offer.
