AHRC has issued a call for projects that will seek to address real-world challenges facing sectors, businesses, communities and publics in the responsible development and application of AI technologies, as part of its Bridging Responsible AI Divides (BRAID) programme: https://www.ukri.org/opportunity/braid-responsible-ai-demonstrators/
Proposals should be multidisciplinary, but with the majority of the core team to be in the arts and humanities disciplines (such as Law, Philosophy, and Design). Each project will be an intervention designed to advance Responsible AI in a specific context with at least two non-academic partners. AHRC expects these projects to be co-designed and delivered in partnership with stakeholders outside of academia.
The University is restricted to submitting no more than two proposals, and so an internal selection stage is required. The internal selection stage is being coordinated by the Humanities Division.
Please complete the EoI form (link below) to register your expression of interest. All expressions of interest (any any queries) must be sent to research.support@humanities.ox.ac.uk by Monday 6 May.
