Berlin Centre for Global Engagement: inaugural call for proposals

The Berlin Centre for Global Engagement is a new centre of the Berlin University Alliance for research on, from, and with the Global South, science diplomacy, and academic freedom.

This inaugural call is part of a mapping process that aims at identifying possible collaborative projects between faculty members of the four Alliance partners and partners in the Global South on themes of global interest and regional expertise.

As a partner of the Berlin University Alliance the University of Oxford is eligible to participate in the programme as a third partner, although not to receive funding. Some travel and subsistence support may be available internally for Oxford researchers to participate in successful bids, by contacting Alasdair MacDonald.

Awards may range from €10,000 to €40,000 per project.

The deadline for applications is 30 June 2020.
