Invitation of Expression of Interest (EoI) outline applications for UKRI EPSRC Place Based IAA-R2
UKRI EPSRC Place Based IAA-R2 call is open for consortia funding to support a programme of impact activities within a research and innovation cluster. UKRI’s Place Based IAA-R2 call limits the number of lead applications from institutions, therefore in this round, Oxford will be able to submit only one PBIAA application as a lead institution, and will run an internal process to select the application to put forward.
MPLS division is inviting PBIAA Expression of Interest (EoI outline) applications from eligible applicants who wish to lead and submit a full PBIAA application by 21 March 2024.
A panel comprising Oxford’s EPSRC IAA Steering Group members will assess EoI outlines to decide which PBIAA outline will be submitted as a full PBIAA business case from Oxford.
Deadline: Submit PBIAA Expression of Interest (EoI) outline by 14:00, 11 December 2023.
Assessment: EoI assessed by 18 December 2023.
Decision: no later than 18 December 2023.
Application: Applicants should provide an EoI outline, focussing on selected sections of the case for support, specifically,
- Vision
- Approach
- Management and governance
Applicants should use the application template (PBIAA Oxford 2023 EoI Outline Form R2) and guidance (PBIAA OXFORD 2023 Guidance R2) for their Expression of Interest applications, which are both linked-to below. However, applicants should also have consulted the detailed call guidance in EPSRC’s Place Based IAA-2 call.
Assessment criteria: The panel will assess PBIAA EoI outlines against corresponding Place Based IAA-2 assessment criteria.
