Social Sciences SDG Impact Fund

The UN Sustainable Development Goals provide a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and in the future. The 17 Goals offer a shared common language through which we can empower our academic community and other stakeholders to collectively deliver solutions to major global challenges.

This new annual call is designed to support social science researchers from University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University to deliver SDG-focused Knowledge Exchange projects in collaboration with non-academic partners. Funding in the region of £15k is available for projects beginning on or after 1 April 2024 and lasting up to 12 months.

We aim to harness the diversity of our research, and encourage inter- or multi-disciplinary collaboration, regardless of the research’s scale or location. Projects may address one or more of the SDGs, either domestically or internationally.

Call documents and a recording of the briefing session are now available here (SSO required).
