UKRI Future Leaders Fellowships (round 7)

NEW Internal deadline: 19 September 2022

Please note that, due to a change in UKRI’s process, Oxford’s internal deadline has been amended from 5 September to 19 September.

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) has launched a call for applications for Round 7 of the Future Leaders Fellowships Scheme. The Future Leaders Fellowships Scheme is a cross-council scheme that supports early career researchers, with outstanding potential, to tackle challenging research and develop their own careers.  Funding is available for up to seven years, on a 4(+3) basis, allowing long term flexible funding to support adventurous and ambitious programmes. There are no eligibility rules based on years since PhD or whether the applicant currently holds an open-ended academic position. The UKRI’s Scheme Guidance for Future Leaders Fellowships can be found on the UKRI website.

Oxford is capped at submitting ten applications therefore an internal coordinated bids process is being run to select the applications to put forward.

Applicants are invited to submit Expressions of Interest before 4pm on Monday 19 September 2022.

For general queries about the Scheme, please contact Catriona Hopton.
