A high resolution 200kV TEM for 2D and 3D imaging of proteins, nanoparticles, biomaterials and biological ultrastructure. The 2100Plus is equipped with a Gatan OneView CMOS camera, as well as brightfield, darkfield and high-angle annular dark field detectors for Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy (STEM). Electron tomography and STEM tomography of particles and resin embedded cell/tissue samples can be done using Serial EM with the high tilt tomography holder. Serial EM can also be used for automated data acquisition for single particle analysis (SPA) of negatively stained protein samples. |
